Yesterday I eluded about our financial difficulties. Nothing too major, but I realized that we needed a tune-up when last week I went to the 'We Serve' gas station, Filled 'Er Up, and then tried to use my debit card to pay, but it was declined. Then I tried to use my credit card and IT was declined! Sucks to be me. Anyway, I left my name, licence plate and phone number with the garage and luckily I had a cheque in my wallet that was desperately asking to be cashed. I returned and tried to give the nice man a $5 tip for trusting me and you know what he said? "I think you need it more than me." And he turned down the tip!
Today, I went to the same gas station and was next in line to be served when I realized that I didn't have my wallet with me! Could you imagine not being able to pay two weeks in a row???
I was embarrassed last week...this week I would have been mortified.
Thankfully, I was able to drive away before the attendant got to me.

OMG that is my worst nightmare. I had Target decline my ATM card once just after we moved to WA from MN because we only had a few dollars left in our account and I thought we still had hundreds. Oops!

Hope the money issues get sorted out soon. Tax refund coming, I hope?!

How nice of them to trust you. I think I would have driven off the second time too. I have been doing my accounts recently and am going to have to tighten the belt a bit. I am hoping our interest rates drop a little more as that will help a lot!
