My new blackberry has an alarm feature with a snooze setting on it. Finally I am able to press snooze every 10 minutes for as many times as I like :) which is already starting to drive Greg nuts. I am not a morning person and never have been. For Greg, the alarm goes off and he jumps out of bed---I seriously don't know how people do that! I am quite capable of being ready and out the door in 20 minutes (with a packed lunch) as I tend to get organized the night before. I shower and wash my hair before I go to bed, and cross my fingers that I don't have a 'sleep-part' on the crown of my head in the morning.
This morning my alarm went off at 6am, I pressed snooze until 6:50, had a shower, jumped back into bed (after I pushed Buddy out of the way) to warm up, got out of bed again at 7:05, drank coffee and have been playing on the computer for over an hour which now already makes me 10 minutes late for work. Well, not exactly LATE as I don't have to keep regular hours because I don't have to relieve anyone at the end of their shift. So, this morning I have been dilly-dallying and although my alarm first went off at 6am, it is now 8am and I still have to dry my hair, get dressed, and slap on my make-up before I leave to battle with rush hour traffic.
Geez...I should have set my alarm for 7am and gotten an extra hour of sleep.
Do you guys snooze, or do you get up with the first alarm?

If I don't get up when the alarm goes off I won't get up.

I'm a snoozer. I purposely set the alarm earlier than I need to so that I can snooze. But often one or two of my cats insist I get up by knocking things off the dresser, scratching on the side of the bed or just meowing loudly in my face.

It depends - if it's early adn I need to get to a meeting then I don't snooze, if I don't have to be in for a particular time then I snooze. I actually build snooze time into my morning get up routine!

Always snooze 20-30 minutes.

Oh I am a snooze button person also...but I also set the time on the alarm clock 10 minutes ahead to fool my fuzzy brain that it's later, I know ..it's stupid cause I do the math when I open one eye and look at the damn thing, but u know we aren't always logical in our quirks lmao!! I HATE MORNINGS!

I haven't owned a traditional alarm clock for years. I use my cell phone...it's the best thing because you always have it in case you need a quick nap away from home. I snooze my alarm every day...anywhere from 15 minutes to 1 hour! It's the only way I can get up.

Oh, I'm definitely not a morning person and when I was working having to get up was the worst part of the day, the next was the bus being late, the next was having loads of stress in the job... Resulting in being ever more reluctant to get up! The only reason I'm commenting now, at 8.49 GMT, is that I haven't been to bed yet!

I don't set an alarm at all!! I set my internal clock. It hasn't let me down yet. Sometimes when I have to get up at a different time than usual, I set a clock alarm, but I have always been up before it goes off anyway.

Internal clock for me... and the whole house for that matter. Mind you Valerie and I both work from home so its just about driving the kids in for school. Its Sunday morning and I have been up since 5:30am. But at the end of the day... I get too little sleep... always. I need to work on that.

I am TOTALLY a snoozer. When I have to get up, I actually will set a couple of alarms. The one next to my bed I usually set about a half hour early and then I hit it every 5 minutes. Then I set my cell phone for the right time and leave it in the kitchen where I HAVE to get up to turn it off. This technique works for me, but I DO wish I could get up on the first ring.

Hey, Happy 2008. Better late than never, huh?
